Literally just received a call from this number about 17:45hrs then checked it here as I do with all Unkown numbers nowadays! Which is a pain in the *! I'm glad these sights exist to check a number as they will even call now with a mobile number! Which is frustrating as I have my own small business and I have gotten into the habit of letting all numbers I don't know go to voicemail and then check if they are safe or not? Just been called as above re HMRC lawsuit. Knew it was a big mistake or more likely a scam so pressed 1. A man spoke politely asking how he could help. Told him he had phoned me and politely hung up ! As they are not even trying to hide their number why don't the authorities track them, prosecute and shut them number down ?

The message claimed to be from NatWest asking me to call which I did. I was asked to hold for a good 5 minutes. I was asked for account number and sort code but not for any card details. They said they did not know why I had received the message. When I rang NatWest fraud number they said that this is NOT a genuine NatWest number. Nothing untoward appears to have happened on my account. I await my phone bill!

I initially ignored their calls but I am glad I answered a call in the end. They helped me locate an old workplace pension that I had two decades ago. I hadn t given the pension much thought since I left the job. I couldn t of afforded hundreds of pounds to pay a financial advisor so they really helped me out.
