This number through a series of texts purporting to be from my daughter has defauded me today through a banking scam
Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. Recorded message about a charge on my paypal account and to press 1 to cancel. I pressed 1 to wind them up and she asked me if I wanted to cancel it. When I said yes she probably reconised my voice from other calls and hung up on me.

Scam - offered to come and do free security check and install cameras to elderly resident, he didnt sign anything, they took his information and charged him for the free consultation, and installation of 8 camera (non installed or agreed too). Money was taken from account, and his number was blocked, even address of card left isnt for this company, but a empty lot in Dewsbury, when number called and asked about this elderly resident, they block your number too after using some blue language.Fraud SCAM

Phoned today at12.15 pm. Fairly gruff voice. Purportedly from BT. Asked me to confirm that I had been in touch with BT this morning. As I had, I said yes. There was some hesitation and a lot of background noise. I asked what he wanted. He asked if contact was by phone or mail (I think). I replied that the contact was on the internet and he abruptly ended the call.
