Apparently a call from Microsoft about my computer. I didn t let him go any further, as it is a scam. Avoid.
I believe this to be a nuisance call, My advise to others is If you have a answer machine leave a outgoing message to incoming callers saying that if this is a telemarketer or any unknown caller ringing, that this call is classed as harassment and an invasion of your privacy and that you will ignore their call". I monitor all my calls and if I don t recognize the number I just let the answer machine takeover, they never leave a message and since I have been doing this my unwanted calls have started to cease

Believe that this number could be associated with Bank Payment scams. I had an automated call from the bank stating that they has identified to suspicions payments against my account and would I confirm 'yes'; or 'no'. When I confirmed that I knew nothing about them I was put through this number which was answered by a man who gave his name as a Paul Butler and stated that he was a member of the Bank Fraud team. A comment he made got me suspicious and I rang off/blocked

Supposedly a company called Direct Legal, claimed to want to talk to me about compensation for an accident. A quick google search reveals they are a debt collection agency based in Buckley, even though the phone number has a Glasgow area code.

Received voicemail saying to Call this number before things get worse problems. Immediately called back. No reply. Tried four times. No reply. Eventually was answered. Initially silence then after e a couple seconds heard what sounded like an announcement at a railway station or airport in the background then suddenly went dead. Seemed like a frightening "ransom" scam. Saying your being investigated for "Tax Fraud" and your going to be arrested if you don't hit "1" to reply back. I expect any reply incurs a massive phone fee charged to your bill connected to a premium number. No official entity would call you on an automated message in such a cold manner disregarding your mental and physical health conditions. Such as being suicidal or having a hart condition.
