Fraud. Got a call I didn't answer. They left a voice mail it wasn't a person it sounded like a generic message. It said there was something wrong with my financial account and then said I'll be arrested ( they spelt out the word arrested) I have 2 phones the one they rang is the one I use for fam/ friends it's not the one attached to any of my bank account/ online shopping. There is absolutely no reason any business should have that number.

This is a hoax .... say they are from currys and PC world... they offer upgrade on your phone, 1 week on no new phone canceled card payment and direct debit, phoned again today soon as they heard my voice they hung up, I've been keeping the line busy for the past 2 hours .... got nothing better to do. A cold call. Caller said that I had a problem with my internet for 3 weeks and his engineers were fixing the problem. Caller did not use my name or the name of my internet provider. Caller did not answer any of my questions but carried on reading from his script. I am sure that this was some sort of SCAM attempt. As usual I did not give the caller any information that would identify me or any account that I may have.
This phone no. belong to a very dedicated removal company, I first thought are some scammers but after a took the call I realize they are removal company and they did a great job for an amazing price.

scam call. apparently from my mobile provider and I have been selected to have my bill reduced, I asked who my provider was, they couldn't answer, and then asked how much it would be reduced too and they then asked for my last bill, I said if they are my provider they know how much my bill is and then the phone went down, they will try anything

Considering my number is TPS registered and the caller did not leave a message it’s either marketing or a scam.

I told them I was not interested and had no problems with my Windows PC. I ended the call without listening to what they wanted, so can’t be sure if a scam (likely they would tell me PC/Windows needed attention, as many similar types of calls are reported) They may have something to sell, but cold calls are not something I listen to.
