SCAM Said they were O2. Very convincing. Sent an OTP, like a fool, I gave it to them. By the time their call ended, and I got through to O2 (max 10 minutes), they’d already changed my email and postal addresses. O2 tell me the only time they will ask for the OTP is when a customer calls them. Looks like I stopped them in time, all details now changed, and security info changed, but be careful people. Recorded call that states there is urgent news about your pension bonus-how stupid do they think we are! I have had a number of these calls over the last couple of weeks. Dialing 1471 gives this number 0161 752 0020. I have not contacted this number nor will I, this is quite obviusly a scam of some sort.

Rang me about a valid accident looking to take a statement - I declined as they did not know my real name or address. Seemed very dodgy and was given advice that I did not have to give a statement to anyone but the Police.
I joined vanquis a few months ago, I had no idea how vile the company actually is! I paid 70 pound last month and my minimum payment of 15 pound and I have had 10 calls in the past 3 days. They are sneaky though using up to 7 different numbers. Bare in mind my job salary is only 450 a month and I live in my own house so 70 pound is a huge amount for me to pay. I hope this company fails. It ll cause a lot less problem for me in the long run.
