Automated message when you pick up that says ive avoided tax of some sort and that I need to press 1 to speak to someone to avoid it going to court. After pressing 1 it just goes silent and when you call it back it just says persons phone is switched off. Im based in Wales and call is from Manchester so will assume its a scam

Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I highly suspect this was a scam call.

Lady told me that I had entered an online competition to win lottery tickets and had won ! At this point I told her I had not entered any competitions and ended the call. Number now blocked.

Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back. I received a phone call from +44 20 8097 5643 claiming I recently responded to a social media ad (I didn't). The scam company is 'Apollo.Expect' their website is https://apollo.expert/ and the caller claimed they were based in oxford and major cities across Europe. There is nothing online about the company so I immediately knew it was a scam. After reminding them they are in breach of GDPR the call immediately ended.
