Cold caller menace, now using mobile phones, now blocked.

Generally when there s a long pause before they answer, it s safe to say it s a call centre that I m going to have zero interest in talking to. Whistle loudly down the phone. They don t tend to call back again. ;)

Constant calls. A pain in the royal area. Reported them.

Scared my poor grandmother to death claiming to be part of the tps saying that she will be cut off. When rang back to voice my opinion the number was invalid

I have contacted BT and they inform me this is a Dummy phone no. There is no charge unless you get connected. This is just a nuisance call. Just hang up or block the call on you...

No reply when answered phone. On silence!!

The very pleasant woman explained that my husband and myself were likely to be paid compensation following our holiday last year (2015) She knew that we d had an all-inclusive holiday but that s all. This number rings me at least 10-12 times a day, when you ring back they tell you you have missed a call but they will phone you another time!!!

Persistently calling, using a known contact s name in our industry to try and arrange a meeting.

For once, an unknown number that is actually legit. It was a call from Thames Water. I didn t answer as I didn t recognise the number but the voice message was genuine with specific details (including the correct address) about a drainage issue I d discussed with them earlier. Genuine call.

I was just called by somebody saying they were from UK Financial. The said they had a cheque for me for money i was owed from bank charges. They knew my address then asked me to confirm my date of birth. I told them i was not giving it to them as i had never heard of them. When i said this they hung up!

Foreign female voice said she was calling from Nationwide and someone at my telephone number had had an accident in the last 3 years. No-one has! Actually sounded like a recorded message as there was no response to comments I made! Belong to the TPS and getting really fed up with calls of this type.
