As above comments, got a call out of blue caliming to be from Windows saying problems needed to be fixed on my computer, gave me a serial number that coincided with what is on my computer etc, then it turns out they want money for fixing problem and they wanted remote access to my computer, no no no!I kept them on for half an hour and he gave me this number to ring back

Bunch of scammers. They claim to be different debt collection companies, from different numbers. Been going on for years. You pick up, the automated call kicks in, leaving a message for someone who doesn t exist. In my case, they are always asking for someone called Mr Paul Roberts. They re a company which claim to say you re owed money against your mortgage - lots and lots and lots of words, obviously a scam to get you hooked in to getting them to help you m ake a claim against a missold mortgate - AVOID!!

From looking the number up and finding all these comments saying Vanquis - i called Vanquis up asking why a debt collecting agency is harrassing me when I paid off any money oweing last year and wrote a letter of cancellation LAST YEAR! I dont even have a valid in date credit card with them - how could I owe money?! They obviously havent closed my account! Because I cant remember an email address of password from 4 Years ago they will not talk to me about the account! Vultures!! They should be closed down.
