Claims to be British Gas. When challenged was hesitant and slightly aggressive. Didn t bother with caller further - he didn t know my name or who my supplier was. Suspect it was some kind of scam.

He opened the call...dont worry I am not selling Gas or electric. He then went on to ask if I wanted to sell my business. I said, if you had done your research properly you would see that I am not the owner, only a director. Head office overseas own it. He still argued with me, anyway on closing teh call I told him to wake up. he was the most NON dynaic person I have ever spoken to on the phone. Fraud. Located in Clithero. Reported to Clithero police but they couldn't be bothered to investigate and told me to contact the fraud squad instead. They could have caught the culprit but weren't interested.
I was called today, January 20 th 2021, the automated voice claimed to be calling from The UK Crime Agency stating that there had been a number of illegal activities involving my National Insurance Number and so it would be suspended and a new one issued when I dialled 1 to sleak to an official, I hung up.
