SCAM ,this number called me and when I answered they said my virgin media had been hacked into and I needed to give them my info so they could sort it.Reported them,they then called my landline and my partners mobile.Persistent if nothing else.DONT EVEN ANSWER THIS NUMBER!!!

SCAM!! Leasing Airbnb properties (advertised on FB marketplace) that do not exist!! Cleverly they've linked their web page up to Airbnb's page so when you look for support, it will take you to the legit page, but the booking page is a complete scam! It'll reject your payment when you confirm your booking and offer you the option to do a wire transfer. The scammer will give you "Airbnb's bank details" (confirmed by an agent, Airbnb do NOT have a bank account) to place your deposit into.

Called saying i had two transactions against my visa card they believed were suspicious. One from amazon for a small amount and another for someone else for over 1k. asked me to press some buttons to agree or query these transactions, not a chance thanks.

This call came in on my landline, if I don't recognise the number I let the answerphone pick up. A recording told me that my Internet was going to be switched off and to press 1 to speak to someone. This is an obvious scam as they didn't mention the name of my ISP. They would only communicate be email. People would panic if they received this and possibly get caught out.

Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. The woman calling from this number presents a very convincing, elaborate payment SCAM and claims to be a Lawyer in the United Kingdom, representing a "President of a large Italian company." The name or pseudonym used of the so called lawyer is Vikki McKay.

Fraud: Bank scam. Suggests they are from your bank (but they don't tell you which one because they don't know) Informs you by automated call that large transfers have been made out of your account (which is rubbish). They hope you will be daft enough to talk to them so they can obtain your bank details. Why the Police and Telephone companies still allow these fraudsters to operate it beyond me.
