They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable. SCAM I don't pick up on unknown numbers so they can leave a voicemail if they are legitimate No voicemail left, after ten minutes I called the number back and this was the message : "This is an incorrect number please check and redial" So my advice, never pick up, wait for them to leave voicemail, google number and then call back if needed HTH

Government ‘type’ Recorded message. Caller was a man and speaking in a very English urgent alarming voice. Informing me of multiple fraudulent use of my National Insurance number ant that unless I pressed option 1 now proceedings could be taken against me also with cancelling my access to my accounts etc.. or something along those lines. Luckily I took the call on my iPad so wasn’t able to press option 1. Which is just as well as I tried to thinking it was genuine at the time. It would frighten many.
