Called to say from MBNA and that there was a problem with the account. Indian (asian) voice. Wife was very rude to him. The number that came up was the same as the MBNA help line number with extra 2 added at the end. Called MBNA - very helpful - no they had not contacted us. MBNA say they always text before ringing and only speak to main account holder.

They called me repeatedly and at some point i just answered and although I didn t really understood what they wanted, they started asking for my personal information. At that point I clearly told them that I m not gonna reveal any of it. They hung up. Better for them

"Brian" called from this number. He called me last week from a different mobile (which I blocked) introducing himself as "Barry". I recognised his voice and told him to jog on (words to that effect) so he didn t have the opportunity to tell me again that he was calling on behalf of a creditor who was threatening to take legal action regarding insufficient loan repayments. SCAM - Call centre, once you pick up and speak it goes through to a very busy call centre. Indian sounding gentleman, only knew my first name, I asked who was calling and he claimed "NHS vaccination programme" at which point I told him he was lying and to stop scamming people, he hung up.
Calls and when the phone is answered, the phone hangs up. Returned the call, the phone rang but no one answers!

Indian scammers now have the facility to send information to your phone that displays a different number to where they are phoning from. Hence this number does not belong to the scum trying to tel me they are from Amazon and have that I have just been charged for an Iphone 7 for £350 which has been deducted from my bank account. Total rubbish of course as they just want you to give them your bank account details.
