These people will call on a daily basis around the same time, you pick up the phone someone is there on other end and then puts phone down on you, when you try and call back you get number not recognised, tried blocking number doesn t seem to work

Called shortly after pick up to report a scratch found on car. Office was closed both times so hung up. 1 minute and 2 seconds in total - cost me almost 5 quid. Will never rent from Sixt again - what a rip off.

This is NOT a Preston code. They are scammers, offering free services for building work etc. TPS cannot do anything about these calls.

Called by this number today, said from Labour Party, questioned about why I joined as a registered supporter of Labour Party, was I a member of another organisation etc. I really took exception having to declare whether I voted labour in the last general election; irrespective of whether I did or not, that s my business! Since when do people have to tell others how they vote in at the polling booth!

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. I have received several calls to my mobile from this number recently. If I don t answer the phone, they don t leave a message and when I do answer it the caller appears to hang up. I am wandering if it is SPAM or a wrong number (but surely if the latter they would have left a message for someone else or spoken to me and discovered the error). I ve noticed several Manchester numbers being associated with unwanted calls to EE customers and wonder if this number is also being used by the same people/company.
