I think this was a fraud check call from Bank of Scotland that I answered and was then transferred to the customer service dept which wasn t answered promptly. I hung up, but this resulted in a 27p charge for me. Not a lot, but a good scam if you manage it for a lot of people!

Internet search says it s a care line company called Tendring of Clacton on Sea in Essex.

Calling from a huge sales company that make calls from data spreadsheets. Mine was for insurance renewal purposes which is not sue for renewal.

yes, as per all the other comments, this is Addenbrookes appt automated reminder. Rang my home and mobile several times but of course, no message. I have been waiting for an appointment time and date to come through and GP has chased on several occasions. The message stated it was a reminder that I had an appointment on (date and time given and Department). I had to keep pressing option to hear again as not surprisingly, I didn t have my diary to hand. I eventually accepted but of course I do not have

Kept ringing my landline, when I asked him why he kept ringing he said if I didn t talk with him he would ring every day non stop until I did!! Bullyish, rang 10 times in 4 minutes.

They phoned me saying they were from BT and trying to stop marketing calls (Like a kind of international Telephone Preference Service) and tried to get get my card details out of me. They read out my name and address to me then asked for the expiration date on my debit card so they could "verify" my details. I gave them a false one. They then asked for the "Reference" number of the card the big number along the top. I asked them to verify my BT account number (I m on Virgin Media) but they did nit see

Fifth call in two days. Blocked

Carphone warehouse. Constantly calling on variety of numbers. So annoying. When I do answer a different number and it's them again, I am very short with them.
