The Inland Revenue wouldn't contact you that way about anything, much less something as serious as a fraud case. I'd say it's both annoying and potentially dangerous if anyone is fool enough to believe it.

I was called today ostensibly to discuss cover for the new phone I d bought. I haven t and when I told the caller I hadn t, he got off the line pretty sharpish.
