Sarcastic and rude male just kept repeating he wanted to give me a quote for car warrenty on my car (mentioned make and model along with car reg!) Wouldn t remove my number when asked. I insisted to be put through to a human being who doesn t have attitude. When I was I told them unless they remove my number, I shall deafen their telecallers with a whistle next time they call, and I hope they suffer for it. Silent call. Been getting a lot lately from unknown numbers and I usually let them go through to answerphone because they are from telesales/debt management unsolicited callers. Decided to answer this one, but I didn t speak, and the other end was complete silence. Probably just another machine doing their sleazy telesales calls for them so they don t have to even bother using a human. Another one to add to the blacklist.

Received a call offering a free tablet, declined as I did not believe they were calling from Vodafone themselves, and hung up. Then received a seemingly automated text message from Vodafone advising the call was genuine, but the grammar in the text was poor - "infact", "you wasn t sure", "removed you from our list of customer" - so I can t be sure if it is genuine. Surely a big company like that would check something so simple?

I have called applianceserve on 08004118899. I said I had asked for a refund of the £175 I had paid for my washing machine to cover the next 3 years following the expiry of the manufacturer s guarantee but had not received any response. Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund. She looked up my details and said someone will call me tomorrow in office hours. She sounded pleasant - so - watch this space!!

At least half a dozen calls over last couple of days. I answered twice and person hung up both times!

I answered - they hung up.

I have received calls over a number of years from a company asking about an "accident" I have never had. I have blocked every call but they continue to use new numbers. They now introduce themselves as the "Excellent Advice Company".

Keeps calling me maybe 3 or 4 times a day answers once and never spoke to me

Accident claims just trying to get me to claim for an injury that I never had ......from an accident I had years ago....... total waste of time !!!!
