Went through all the comments, I found some painful, while some were funny. My conclusion is most people can still get scammed just because they can’t read in- between the lines. I’ve be victimized. Now I have a resident expert and a professional hacker who helped me recover my funds and so far, it had been worth it. Hackers easily know a bitcoin scam. I get repeated calls from this number, which I don't answer. I do not know who the caller is. They always leave a blank voice message of a few seconds with no one speaking. I assume it is a telemarketer given the number of calls, and short messages with no voice.,
Usay Compare, legitimate company, only call you if you've enquired online. Bupa use them to compare online enquiries rather than do their own. They will remove your details if you bother to answer your phone and ask them to, rather than hiding from it and complaining on a random website like a child

Fraud, SCAM, PHISHING 07440008657 claims to be from HMRC in an automated american accent. I pressed 1 to find out more and spoke to a human (with a fake American accent) who immediately asked for my name and postcode. They hung up when I politely said no.

I am in Greece and have a Greek mobile. I had a missed call from this number. As we have UK-based clients I called the number back and the bakery had no idea what I was talking about! I have come across this before with UK numbers, can a third party somehow hijack a landline number?

I've had two missed calls from this local phone number, but they don't bother to leave a message & when I phone back it is an automated message that let's me know that nobody will answer and I can't leave a message. If you don't warn someone you're going to phone, they're not going to answer. My only guess is that it's someone from the council or Severn Trent possibly.
Man with good English African voice, knew my first name and claimed to be from my property repairs. Clearly he was a liar as he had no connection to my area nor the my property ownership.
