Just received a phone call from 01243777952. It was from Amazon Prime saying our subscription had ended. Has the phone number been hijacked?
Called me and hung up immediately when answered. Rang back and had a recorded computer voice usually associated with SPAM. Reported as Spam and BLOCKED
I have received calls from this number several times. When I answer it tell me the call was not important. I call back and a message just repeats that I am caller number 2 waiting to speak with a representative. It just repeats and repeats and I get to speak with anyone.

Said they were calling from Amazon about a high value order I placed. Asked me to confirm. I knew straight away it was a scam as the caller was trying to panic me into cancelling the order and log into account
I did not speak when answering call as I did not recognise the number, caller terminated the call without speaking, obviously another phishing scam.

This company is suposed to be a Management Property Company.(alas I didn't catch the name) They phoned today theBank Holiday for our Queens Funeral which I was watching. When I rang it back (02045 385857) it rang & rang. but no reply. It was not a normal ring for the UK but a ring for abroad. This made me think it was the middle of the night somewhere. Not sure if it is a scam, but concerned they knew my name, and what domestic appliances I have. We recently cancelled insurance with Domestic and General, so wondering if they have sold on our details.
