called me but i missed it.

Yet another call to my rarely used mobile about same time of day. When answered nothing heard at other end and hung up.

This telephone number has been spoofed. I've spoken to the guy who says he's getting loads of these every day & only suggests you block it.

Now called me 3 times on my mobile. On one occasion it would not let me answer. Today it rang and then rang off before I could answer. If it doesn t cost me money and doesn t get too persistent, I am just going to ignore it.

RSPCA call. Hung up before they got to the end of their script and asked for money. One time I had a duck with a broken leg in my garden, and RSPCA were not even remotely interested. Was a chap from Phone Spot trying to sell me a new phone.

Indian "gentleman", claims he is from Microsoft. Says my computer is downloading spurious files. I asked him how he knew it was my computer, he said by the machine ID. When I asked what this was he quoted "888DCA....." which is NOT a machine ID, it is a standard Microsoft code related to zip-files, which I told him. The call was terminated immediately...!
