this company just phoned me. a lady with an accent told me i had a blockchain account. i said i would check online, she got irritated. i told her she was a scammer, she got more irritated. i put the phone down. Dont give these people any personal information.

Scam calls, usually related to Crypto. These people have been harassing me for over a year due to the previous owner of my phone number having filled out an inquiry on their website. They call from numbers generated in the UK and across Europe/Asia. The number is not in service when you try to call it back.
Likely scam. They rang me. I picked up but didn't say anything into the phone. They didn't say anything either and then hung up. I always answer in this way when I receive an unexpected phone call from an unfamiliar number. Legitimate callers always say "hello" and try to get a response. Scammers hang up. It happens every time!

Spam/silent calldon't know what company it is however it has rang me several times the last few days and i don't know anyone nor have I requested anyone from Bournemouth to call me, they have called from this phone number and +441202057480. I answered the call once and it was silent for 3 seconds then ended. If anyone knows who these numbers belong to please let me know as if they don't stop calling I'll be taking this further as their nuisance calls are blocking me from my expected important phone calls ??

Presumably using in-country telephone redirection service so as to appear with 0161 prefix. Claimed "We are getting errors from your internet connection." Indian woman called Jessie from Housing Disrepair Association. Told me I'd been reported as having damp in the home. Asked her what country she was calling from and what location which she wouldn't answer, she then wanted to know if I was a private or social tennant. Told her I knew she was a scammer, at which point she hung up.
