I had a call from 02084421145 this morning 28/02/2020. It was a recorded message telling me that Amazon Prime was going to take £79 out of my bank account for the annual membership fee. It said if I did not agree then I should press 1 on my phone keypad. I ended the call. I am not an Amazon Prime member!

this is the second number to ring to say that they were calling from virgin media and that I was having problems with my internet and my router was intermittent and had a fault. Just received a 3rd call from this number today Answered the 1st call no answer then they put the phone down. Ignored subsequent calls to let it go to voicemail. Checked on this site, now the number is blocked!
Caller identified himself as energy savings company in Great Yarmouth, and asked if I was home owner. I told him I d had a call from them a week ago and had said I wasn t interested in solar panels. He then tried to interest me in energy savings from govt scheme for new efficient boilers. Repeatedly offered me a free evaluation which I declined, then he hung up (politely) when he saw he wasn t persuading me.

The lady got very abrupt saying "the person doesn t want to speak to me, that s alright, I shall contact your provider that you are not interested" I basically put the phone down.
