Indian caller - computer scam - he received my normal "rude" reply

Has called repeatedly over the last couple of weeks. Never leaves a message. Often rings twice with just seconds between calls.

they knew my name. Called and said they were informed that I had a car accident recently which of course I did not. How do they know my name?

Scammer called Simon. Says he is a local energy advisor but is actually many miles distant.

Called my wok phone, everytime I spoke it sounded like recording, and some guy would say something.

I hung up immediately. Similar numbers calling during three days since 21 Jan 2021 claimed to be Amazon chasing payment.

Call to confirm genuine set up of payment on Internet banking.

Appears to be Dack Computers, Holbeach, Spalding, UK. Not anyone I am aware of that I know or have done business with, unless the Company behind an Amazon seller. Did not answer.

Was called today from this no. An Asian sounding chap introduced himself as Robin Waterman from B.T. and told me my broadband would be closed down for 10 days. When I asked him for the no. he was calling from he gave me a different no. to the one on my caller display. When I asked which of the 2 broadband accounts I am responsible for was affected he said the first one! Called me saying they had information I had been in a car accident. I asked who had informed them and she disregarded my question to ask her own. I then stated that if she couldn t answer the question then we couldn t speak further, so she hung up. I hope she sleeps well at night knowing that her entire platform of employment is based upon being a nuisance.

So sick of these calls. I don t answer any calls if I don t recognise the number. Added to reject list on my phone.
