Caller identified herself as Julie Smith from Signet Advice (as far as I could tell with some background noise). Said she d been informed I was recently injured in a car accident that wasn t my fault. I asked her how she knew that. She replied that she was sorry to bother me and would remove my phone number from their database and hung up on me without pausing for breath. Pond scum. (My number is registered with TPS and I can t stand talking to idiots so I ve reported them)

Unsolicited call. Rang andcwhen answered they hung up. Geographically number licated in the buxton, derbyshire area. Coukd not get any more info on the number. Dont know if they are a scammer or not...but my number is onlynoassed out to about 20 family members only. So treat wuth caution, hopefully Im wrong they are kegitimate business. Ash

Got a txt from this number 15 minutes ago pretending to be from the Post Office advising of a failed deliver. Post Office using mobile phones I think not. Honestly, GDPR was a waste of time, penalising honest businesses but scammers and thiefs are safe? Just don't pick up a number you don't know, why would your Insurance call you? They never do.
