Before I even thought about handing over that info I asked them, how do I know your from VM. Every time they hang up after that. Suspicious to me.

This number must be part of the range of numbers dedicated to the same call centre - I can see more similar numbers of the same range 12544731xx reported already, mostly with insurance marketing. In the case of this number they left no message, no idea who is behind it? People please did someone answer it? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back, trying to dig some info about this number on internet first...

It seems that this number is associated with on-line scammers purporting to be from Microsoft in Reading. Um, a Glasgow number in reading, I don't think so! They become very abusive when contradicted or challenged. The latest representative called into question my lineage and suggested that I performed carnal acts with my mother. Slanderous in the extreme!

I ve had this number call me several times over the past few weeks. Normally I hang up just as the message begins. This time I waited until the end of the message, when the it suggests that you can Press 9 to request they don t call again. I pressed 9 and the line went dead. It ll be interesting to see if they stop calling me. If they don t stop, I ll write to OFCOM, and copy a letter to the police and to my local MP, who just happens to be David Cameron. Looks like an attempted scam, pretending to be from OpenReach. spun some line about "slow internet speed" but wants access to "configure your router" and other details about your home computer/laptop. Strong Indian accent, highly suspicious. They hung up when I said I would access my router and check the config data myself rather than "let them configure it (remotely)"
