Had at least 4 calls today. Claims to be BT about to cut off internet unless I press 1 or 2, or something like that. Much as previous commentaries. Total pain in the .. neck. Ho...

Said my NI number had been used Illegally, I believe it is a scam.

Normally don t pick up unknown calls but the number was similar to one I was expecting so mistakenly answered. Think this was an Indian call centre and the guy rambled something about pensions. I said I wasn t interested. He tried to stop me from hanging up by saying it wasn t a sales call (?)... Something along the lines if pension release. I swiftly said I don t have a pension and he was no longer interested in keeping me on the call. Sounds dodgy to me... As many people say this number is Talk Talk. E

I believe this is a scam. Caller, female, claimed to want to help me. Otherwise my Amazon prime account would be auto-renewed at a given price. The price she quoted is different...

They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable. Called today claiming to be updating our 118/Directory Enquiries entry. Confirmed various info about our company including name and address. No doubt we ll now be getting a lot more spam and unsolicited calls.

Had 3 calls today, answered third call. Man said my computer kept sending info to their computer and he would help sort it out. He was trying to get me to hand over access to my computer to him - told him where to get off.

Called but didn’t leave any message so number is now blocked

When I went to answer this call I got a message telling me that all operators were busy and if I would like to call them their n umber was. No way I going to call them, if they want me they can phone again.

The guy rang about PPI. He had the wrong name for the number and when I pointed out it was a company number he wouldn t give up and said he wanted to help everyone. I told him I had no PPI and he still wouldn t give in. He wanted to know if I had gone through the claim before and I told him I have no loans or credit cards so then he moved onto whether I was sold PPI through a mortgage. I kept telling him my answer was no but he was very persistent.

Subcontinental-sounding told me I needed a box to stop nuisance calls - two pounds fifty a month for three years! Caller Display does it much cheaper and I don t usually answer calls from 0845- numbers. Curious this time.

I get at least 6 calls a day on my company mobile from these idiots. starting to annoy me now. If its legitimate or not I don t know all I want is for them to take me off the data base

Foreign callers claiming to be from Accident Helpline. Ask if they can speak to person who had road accident. Last week I asked them to remove my number (registered on TPS), was told no. Spoke to a Manager who advised he would. Just had another call. Guy just hung up when I mentioned about last week.

Continually phone offering loans until you ask to be removed from their database.
