Telemarketers, usual nonsense, I suggest you just cut the call if answered by mistake, block them on the mobile or landline handset if you are able, if you do talk to them then of course ask for your details to be removed etc... Do not behave like the quarter wit above, screaming and shouting at them, it just makes you look like a complete and utter fool and an idiot and in truth there is no reason to behave in such a way, it acheives nothing in terms of getting you out of their database. Recorded femail voice says that there has been some illegal activity on my internet - and I will be cut of..... etc. so press 1 to speak to advisor. IGNORE. New twist. If you just wait (that is don't press anything) an Amarican male voice comes on 'Thank you for your response (which has been nothing just to waste their time) ... you are now being transferred....' at this point I hung-up. The numbers are spoofed (not UK town Northwich).

This was a recoded voice and the script sounded very dubious. I was asked to call them back immedicately about something to do with excise and customs, and that it was very time sensitive. Definitely sounded like a scam. Needless to say, I did not call back.

2 mobile phone calls and 1 landline call and no voicemail message left. called back but got an automated message telling me the number was busy
Said they were from Carphone Warehouse offering a brand new phone for only £35 per month. Stayed on the call with them and I told them my D.O.B (I gave a fake one) when they asked for my contact details. They then asked for my D.O.B again to which I gave a completely different date which did not phase the man on the other end of the line. So I strung him on for as long as I could before hanging up as I couldnt think of a fake address to give. Next time Ill have one ready! :) This number is a scammer.
