James rang me a couple of weeks ago saying we needed to renew our Google Business package with him - thought it was a bit dodgy as we paid a two yr subs with another company a year or so ago. Contacted the bona-fide company and they said its a scam and to prove it to ask him if he knows my Google Business password. Yet to speak to him, so will be doing so!

Caller said she was calling from Amazon and someone had bought a phone on my account and they had been sending me emails yesterday. Checked Amazon account and all email folder...

This number just called me, sounded like a foreign gentleman, he asked my full name then hung up.. Sounded like a call centre spammer.

Old scam - after your data to sell onto other criminals who disregard the law. Just hang up. Good reporting them to the ICO. You don t even need to know their name, just their number. They rang at 7:25 this morning. Said they were Talk Talk. I said they'd just woken us up. They hung up. I rang the number back later but no answer.

they are cold calling about life cover. and starting to get annoying as its everyday a few times a day! no idea where they got my number but i wish they would loss it!

I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! This number is apparently a "proxy": I called it back and the caller was NOT in Worthing...? Scotland, apparently..!? Anyway, DONT answer, or indeed EVER call back.... ;-)

Further to my comments a few days ago, they still call, the call is answered, but there is no one there. NO REPUTABLE company would do this, or allow their partners to.

I had a call from this number. Did not recognise it. On dialling 1471 I was informed "The person on extn 9268 is not available. Please leave a message..." Then "the inbox is unable to take any more messages as it is full". Have put it on choose to refuse now.
