Foreign callers claiming to be from Accident Helpline. Ask if they can speak to person who had road accident. Last week I asked them to remove my number (registered on TPS), was told no. Spoke to a Manager who advised he would. Just had another call. Guy just hung up when I mentioned about last week.

Called a few minutes ago, second time today, asked for accounts department, unfortunately no one was here to deal with accounts. Asked them if they would leave a message but was told they just needed to check an account balance. No more information given, not even a company name. Needless to say if they were a reputable company they would be forthcoming with info. Unfortunately for them, now, no one in the accounts department will be available for quite some time..
Number not known to us, therefore did not answer call, no message left and number now blocked on our phone line.

SPAM SCAM ? Virtually inaudible call from what sounded like an call centre in India, claiming to be from "O2 Network", offering something that sounded like "30% contract". Line was so bad I had to hang up.
They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable. Possibly money/identity theft scam. Received an automated call, apparently from HMRC saying that they detected fraud and for me to press 1 to continue otherwise an arrest warrant will be issued in my name and I will be arrested. Just hung up and blocked number.

This number calls me at least once a day for the past week I decided to answer however as soon as I did they hung up.
Silent call from your map this is showing as Blackpool. When I rang it back, it was Crown DoubleGlazing again. I had another silent call a week ago from a Greater Manchester number, also Crown Double Glazing. I don’t need double glazing, have full double glazing fitted, and have not looked for double glazing for 20 years. My windows were fitted a few years ago from someone by verbal recommendation. So don’t know how they have obtained my home ex directory home number.
