Saying that they are independent law agency dealing with outstanding insurance payments or something along these lines. They called me regarding my accident and as I was involved in one recently, I thought that they're genuine - not until they gave out my address from 3 years ago!

Had my name, said he was from Nationwide, told me my postcode and asked me to confirm it which I refused. I asked him twice what it was about and he cut me off.

If you are not a scammer it is easy enough to prove is it not? I am convinced as with others that you are a scammer.

Claimed to be from BT and was asking for checks to be run on our broadband

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls - scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8432632xxx range... People don't fall for it. Did someone answer any number of this range?

Theres one person sitting there and using a sound board to make it sound like he's in a company building.

SCAM Indian chap called ‘Steve’, said he was from Virgin media and wanted to fix the fault on my internet connection. Told him I didn’t have a fault as I was connected and working on it whilst he was speaking. He put the phone down. This is the 4th call I’ve had today from this 02084 number. Very annoying as I’m with Virgin and my landline is supposed to be ex directory; I can’t even block it ????. Yet another reason for leaving them!

This number comes from Liverpool area, it must be some call centre (multiple calls during last week, and as I can see more numbers calling just the last 3 digits differ). I didn't call them back, no idea what they want... Blocking this spam now.

Debt collector - cabot financial. Number negatively rated due to annoying calls from debt collector - they want to get bank details and they insist very much calling very often.

SCAM / SPAM Had a call from 01216487023 on May 18th 2020 Caller claimed to be from a visa company saying there had been 2 suspicious purchases totalling £1800. They didn't know my name , address or postcode. I told them i'd check my banking app as it shows transactions immediately. The caller said they won't show up , which is why they were calling. I said i'd check anyway. They hung up. Always check first

Called telling me that I'd had a car crash in the last few years, when I said no they asked if anyone on my policy has had a crash, and when I replied with no again they hung up. Called themselves 'Fresh Contacts' I think.
