A call from this number today left a message that sounded like Italian on my answerphone. I guess another scammer.

"You have had a minor accident in your car" "Can you confirm the details of your insurance claim?" I have had no dealings with them before, but they can t say how they got my number.

I answered but kept silent. They hung up after about 10 seconds.

I received a text message from them telling me I owed them over £90 and to contact them regarding the issue. After speaking to O2 previously, they informed me that the number did not belong to O2; and because of this, I decided to do a little digging. This guy called to say he s from Windows and my computer is hacked. He gave a licence number & wanted me to get on line to check it was the same as my computer s so he then could stop the hacker rather than having to shut my computer down. He then gave me his number to call back, got very forceful when I didn t and again when I said didn t have time to do it. Told him he was rude and hang up. Microsoft have nothing to do with this.
