Call from a telephone blocking service. He asked if I received nuisance calls. I said yes plenty but he didn t understand the irony and pressed on with his script. I asked where he was based. He said 70 Margaret Street London which is the HQ of the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) (Note that the caller was NOT from the TPS). I asked him the name of the nearest underground station at which point he terminated the call.

I had enquired about a training course and that is who it is. I called them back and politely told them I was no longer interested, and to remove me from the mailing/calling list. They were quite happy to do so. No issue with them at all.
This is a prank call App - if you received a call from this it means one of your friends is on the other end listening to your reaction, I just fell for it.
This company does not make nuisance calls. They only contact individuals who have an account with them and are buying products from them.

I asked him which appliance had recently lapsed insurance - he wouldn't answer just said "are all your appliances in working order. I said I already had appliance cover - he put the phone down.
