Like everyone else on here, I keep getting phoned about a debt belonging to someone I ve never heard of. I phoned them back, and they agreed to remove my number from their system - but I ve just received another one. They are stressful and very inconvenient.

SCAM This number called my 86 year old mother today, getting her so traumatised she was shouting & crying which is when I took the phone. The person was insisting Mum has a 3 year fridge/freezer insurance, that she pays yearly & needs to pay final year. My mum doesn’t own a fridge/freezer. In the end I told her to put it in writing & send to me. I’ve got to check mum’ bank in case they’ve ever taken money. There will be legal proceedings.
The caller is Autoglass Windscreens - their central windscreen replacement booking line.

I answered the phone, immediately got cut of. Happened multiple times this week.
They verified my details, knew my name and every handset/plan I already had, and after a brief chat, concluded that I didnt need anything. I get these kind of calls 1-2 a year. They are a telesales company likely working with EE. There is a lot of negative comments, but this is the way the capitalist world you live in works. Accept you will get these calls, people trying to sell your something.

Sarcastic and rude male just kept repeating he wanted to give me a quote for car warrenty on my car (mentioned make and model along with car reg!) Wouldn t remove my number when asked. I insisted to be put through to a human being who doesn t have attitude. When I was I told them unless they remove my number, I shall deafen their telecallers with a whistle next time they call, and I hope they suffer for it. Asked for me by my first name which I challenged as he did not know me and he went on to say it was a follow up call regarding an accident I d had in the last three years. Have blocked the call. This is the second call like this from a local number...I m guessing this is a new tactic.
Left a very ambiguous voice-message with our receptionists regarding a business inquiry . Having looked at their line of work as a business seller/broker, I see no reason to speak to them. The company name is Knightsbridge Business Sales . Google it for more info.

Pre-recorded automated message (apparently from BT –NOT) plays when you answer the phone. Advises that you have been experiencing problems with your broadband service, and in order to correct the problem, you must press number 1 (one) on your phone keypad to speak to their “executive”. Call received on Tuesday 25 August 2020 at 13:05.
Bombards you with tons of calls from various numbers trying to offer money of Windows and doors. Will keep changing their number to other local looking numbers. Pain!!!!
