Call from a welsh lady claiming I had been referred , despite not knowing my name and giving a former address. I said I’m not interested in saving on gas as we don’t have it, she then asked for me to confirm my details so she could check, I refused and asked if she was calling me a liar . Number actually shows as 0019798234079 on caller ID but this site seems to drop the 00. This is a Windows security scam where they tell you that you have viruses on your PC and they can fix them for you. Didn t go along with it today and said to them that I suppose they were going to show me errors and warnings in my Windows event logs and they just hung up without any further comment. Hopefully they will remove me from their database if they realise I m too Windows savvy to ever fall for this.

Lady called, knew my name and address, very noisy line, said I would be getting letter in post and that I was due a refund on credit card. I asked what credit card and she couldn t answer just asked if I d had a credit card before 2009 I said no and she hung up!

The called did not know where I was from so admitted they are in Bangalore before I pointed out they were using a virtual London number. The only staff was Arslan Majeed who was both secretary and Director. Born July 1983.

Kept asking if I was Mr (Last name), I kept asking who he was. He didn t know my full name which is always a flag. Never told me who he was and why he was calling, he got frustrated and ended the call. No idea who he was but wouldn t be surprised if, like the last comment it is a computer scammer. Number is probably spoofed as well.
