A gentleman with an Indian accent called he was from the Telephone Preference Service asking if I was still receiving nuisance calls. Went on to ask me to confirm the expiry date on my card, "the one that the direct debit for my phone bill is paid from". Knew by this stage that it was a scam to get bank details so told him I was not prepared to give any details over the phone and hung up. Within minutes of ending the call, the number called back but I did not answer.

Long questioning about life style, said survey was for Derbyshire. Knew my name, address, postcode and phone number. Very cagey about who he worked for. Very polite but asked questions about my income (refused) and various items I owned as well as whether I would donate to at least 4 different charities. Very suspicious, most of my answers were NO.
The polite lady phoned to review my life insurance policy which I do not have. She asked to confirm my address. I refused to continue conversation and asked to remove my name from their calling list

Not a clue who this was, the call rang for about 5 rings then cut off just before I could answer. No voicemail left. Tried to return the call but recorded message telling me the number was invalid. Potentially a scam as lots of numbers using 0203 numbers to appear as a London number.

Two attempts to call and did not call back as my network blocks me from doing so (great stuff) blacklisted them as someone on a different site said its PPI / accident claims (PPI since they will revoke claims in ).
