I said well why else would you be phoning me? He said it's been running very slow for the last few days to which I replied that it's come to a complete stop because I don't have BT internet. They won't be calling again. Block these scammers. Disgusting behaviour. Usual pause before they hear you, then sound polite and smiley but immediately then try to impose and intimidate with their fake sales spiel patter. Utter Bull, Do not bother answering.

The caller said that they were from the National Grid and needed to change my meter. Apparently it is malfunctioning. This is a prelude to trying to get my bank details I thin; I didn't hold on for long enough to find out.
