Wouldn t give me details on how they got my number, wouldn t even remove my number unless I provided my name which I refused to do and I was bluntly told that it was my own fault if I got more calls. This is completely unacceptable - no company required your name to remove your number from their list. I see people are commenting saying that it s OK, it s legit. HMRC called twice on 1/2/18 I was aware of it being a scam as it was reported in the Sun Newspaper and on the news that day. I tried ring the fraud squad but after a lenghtly wait on the phone was unable to contact anyone.I had been scammed 6 months earlier by same people when I was in a bad place and so vunerable.
