Called this morning at 12.32 did not recognise the number let it ring then checked the number is from Hemel Hempstead no history on this number YET.

Just answered to this number and they wanted my address to send out some paperwork to claim for a PPI. (Which I don't have). Junk.

Our number is registered with the TPS. This call came at 09:50 on Monday. Recorded (or synthesised) Northern English (Huddersfield?) male voice. Claimed to be calling from Amazon about illegal/suspicious "activity on your account", as a result of which a charge of over £1,000 to "the card linked to the account" had been stopped. I have had a call from this number again today. Told them before to take my number of there list. When they answer the phone they say you must report for a hearing check up straight away. When I asked why they said I had worked in industry. When I said that I worked in an office as admin they hung up. They still keep calling.

This number called the day my elderly dad s house was burgled. My dad has dementia and insists the two are connected, which basically screwed up the investigation and the burglars, who stole his TV, got off scott-free because the police couldn t get any sense out of him.
