Also similar number called me recently - both the same 016084395xx range, probably the same marketing company? don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active... People please did someone answer it? Who is behind this number?

Twice called up and claim they are from 'UK Preference' wanting to ask me three questions. As soon as I challenge them to tell me more about who they are they hang up. I'm not sure what questions they would ask but they sound very very dodgy. avoid.

Have had 8 calls from this number today I answered it as had entered a Glastonbury competition but turns out I had an accident, when I asked for details was told they needed to verify it was me by me telling them! This number phoned me today at 11:30 I didn’t answer because I was in school but they have phoned me before but I do not answer unrecognised numbers
My Daughter received a call this morning from this number. As she was asleep, she was unavailable. They said to my Wife to ask her to call Nationwide ASAP. My Daughter has called Nationwide and it would appear they did not call her this morning as there is no record. So definitely scam. Be careful!
