Had call from 02039727748 no message left don't know why people call and never leave a message because I'm not ever going to call a number back if its someone I know they will leave a message I'll call back on my mobile I never use my landline its for internet broadband only I can not make calls out from it. I get loads of calls which I never answer all scams' if it was important they'd leave a message never ever is a message left I get these 4/5 times a day all different times of the day I work from home

Recorded message saying the phone company had been trying to contact me about my account, where suspicious activity had been noted, and accordingly I would have my phone and broadband disconnected. This call came minutes after another suspicious call from 08008815191 again supposedly from from the phone company, again wanting me to press1 if I was the person named (they knew my name) or press 2 if I was not the person named. This is some landline from London area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. All of them are used for some kind of telemarketing (sometimes also cold calling), seems to be working for non-profit organizations (Cancer Research UK and similar), but in fact nuisance. People did someone answer this number?

AS with other comments caller wanted to speak to our MD about a urgent financial matter that couldn t be discussed with anyone else. Tasha at CFS business recovery. An obvious giveaway for these types of calls is to ask them to spell the company name phonetically. If they use other words that are not the standard phonetic alphabet then they haven t received the training a proper company would give. CFS was spelt out Charlie, Freddie, Sugar by the caller not Charlie, Foxtrot, Sierra.
