This caller knew my name (but not my correct surname- so not bonafide) and claimed that they had my information because I had been involved in an accident and they were handling the claim. I have not. And when I told the man this, he changed the tack and claimed that someone else had given me as as a contact for their own claim. Nonsense. Have had several calls from this number, when I asked where they got my number from was told the standard lie "opt-in data". They are just cold calling people with the hope of conning you - do not share your information with this outfit. What I do is when I have a spare minute I WITHHOLD my number and bombard these parasite with random calls. So If you can spare the time just keep calling these parasites back from a withheld number - see how they like it!
