SCAM - clearly someone trying to get info about bank details. Rang pretending to be from my bank - starts with an automated message stating a large amount of money has been requested from account & if not authorised, press 1. Person then answers but does not know name/details etc & tries to get you to give details. Be really careful with this number - clearly fraudsters/scammers.

PREDATOR: called up a under 16 female asking inappropriate questions making weird noises down the phone asked where she lived what she was wearing, if she had any knickers on. Absolutely vile human being. This has been reported to the police.
BT SCAM saying they were going to cut us off in the 24-48 hrs for illegal use of our internet. Unbelievable. Do not press any buttons after listening to the pre recording.
Phone rang and left a message saying all our operators are present at the moment and to please hold on. This number has rung me a couple of time before. Once this morning 07/08/202 and 04/08/2023.

SCAM Badly typed WhatsApp message from someone claiming to be Megan from Impellam Employmnet Group, asking if 'she' could provide information about a job offer. I am not looking for a job and have never had any contact with the real Impellam. The information on this page that the number is located in Kazakhstan is also suspicious, since Impellam does not appear to have an office in Kazakhstan. Didn't reply, reported and blocked number, Suggest others do the same.

Spencer from The Energy Support Hub on 02922 229968 called me today. A sales scam as far as I am concerned. Carefully worded opening sales pitch offers Home Owners with a Gas boiler over 7 years old or more a replacement boiler at no additional cost to them, or some such spiel. What the Sales team deliberately fail to mention in the opening spiel is that the cost of the boiler is met through the up to 50% saving on the Home Owners annual gas bill. This only becomes clear some way into the call.

Said they were calling to offer free inspection of loft insulation because the Government has designated some of the old stuff as "irritant". I asked who they represent and she said they work with a number of companies. I asked what her organisation was and she told me she'd get a manager to ring back in the next half hour. Received a payment request email from Paypal for £650 with message stating "Fraudulent activity found, amount £649.99 GBP has been debited from your account for a purchase of DECATHLON GIFT CARDS, if it's not you reach us immediately @ +44-800-368-9784". As this email was directly from PayPal, i checked my account and the request for payment was actually true, however the message on the request is false and the number is fake. This number is NOT Paypal and is a scam.

Maybe they are legit but they called me at gone 8pm just for a survey that could've been an email! They call quite often too, personally I just ignore them.

I have no idea how you made this a number from Russia, no idea what or who it is, just rings and hangs up, so blocked. DON'T EVER ring back, if they don't speak it's of no use to you, and is one of the ways to rip you off, because it registers as a live number and they docan sell your number onto other scam lists; and the number can get diverted to a premium number that will cost you serious money, search it before anything else, and report when it's bad.

Lady with English accent saying she was an energy advisor for my area, calling from an "energy hub" (whatetever that might be). When I managed to stop her (clearly reading from a script) I aksed her precisely what organisation she was calling from. She went silent and hung up.
