It's not a scam number and it is legit. NatWest saw fraudulent activity regarding a bank card. Hung up and rung the number at the back of the card and then Problem got solved. It was NatWest calling.

The guy that calls from this number is really persistant and just does not get off the phone. first call was regarding me making a claim regarding life insurance and another call was regarding investing money. Just do not give them any information at all,
They have rang me 5 times all from a different number but same area and same nuisance 'can i speak to the homeowner" told them twice not interested but still persist. BLOCKED ON ALL 5 NUMBERS but seems they have a lot of phone lines :(

Get constant calls from various numbers asking for "the business owner", unfortunately our number was used by a business about 10 years ago and occasionally appears in searches however that business closed down so they are obviously using old lists, but despite repeated attempts to get them to stop calling us and telling them there is no business at this address and they are ignoring our requests. Called me today (28 April). "David" gave me the usual spiel about 'they have been receiving messages for the last two weeks from my computer that it is infected' (or somesuch). I gave them my usual reply about having to talk to my IT consultant, and could they give me a number to ring back. (At this point he rang off, as these jokers usually do.) Given collective knowledge about these people I have no hesitation in marking it 'dangerous'
