Received a call 01519094412 at 16.10 this afternoon. I didn’t recognise the number and my mobile said it was a suspected spam call so I didn’t answer it and the caller didn’t leave a message.
SCAM - very sophisticated ALERT SMS message from PayPal claiming your PAYPAL ACCOUNT logged in successfully on MAc Air from Nigeria, today at 11:50AM, If you are not accessing, contact immediately: (+44) 800-058-4020 Clearly a scammer who will answer and start phishing for personal details in order to commit fraud. AVOID!
Message left was incomplete. Robotic voice said “bank account. So enjoy using Amazon Prime Services or to unsubscribe from service speak to our Amazon Service Manager, press and 1.” I would not trust the fact that it is a mobile number, incomplete robotic Amazon message, etc. but cannot be certain.
Calls my office work number a couple of times, every 3 or 4 weeks. I called them back on a withheld number and they told me they are an energy company. Personally I just think they're a cold caller.
I was unable to answer the call from this number because my screen was playing up. It did not light up in any way so I couldn't see how to answer or anything. A few minutes later I needed to make a call so I spent some time getting the screen to light up in order to dial out. Surprisingly this number was still calling me. SCAM number. Stole account from willhaben.at, pretended to be interested in a product to get phone number, then texted with WhatsApp.
I received a text from 07547 153344 this morning claiming it was from Evri. It was about a missed parcel delivery and asked me to click on a link to complete a form to reschedule it. I have ignored it as I am not expecting a delivery and the message did not look like other messages I have received from Evri in the past.
