first got calls repeatedly from 293 number - Verso telemarketing - told them to go away - they kept ringing - rang and told them to stop - said they would remove number in next 24/48 hours - then got call from 295 number - all callers have strong indian accents - really rude when I said I couldn't understand him and he put phone down - advise to ignore them all
Rang me at 13.35 on 31st March 2023, I didn't answer as I didn't recognise the number but checked it out ojnline. I am presuming it is a scam call

SCAM - They called me asking about inline trading. I've not at any point submitted my details in relation to this. As polite I was was questioning where they got my details, they hung up. No answer on call back, though I think its a spoofed number not indicating true origin
This call was a follow-up call from the Met Police after I reported a theft via their 101 non-emergency number. They repeated to me details from my 101 call, so I have no doubt it was the police. I imagine its unknown etc as it comes through their switchboard, I get the same when the wife rings me from work phone.

There were no less than five calls from this number while I was out. I did not need to be told it was the criminals pestering me again as I have had so many of them. However it was confirmed next day when a call came from a slightly different number, 01614357985. Other sites informed me a large number of people had been called similarly. Got a call from 01246 255920 it was the same company UK Finance who keep ringing me on different numbers. They said i am due 10 year bank charges but could not tell me which bank. I just keep them on the line saying i need to write the number down then can't find my glasses etc. It must be 6 times they have called asking me to ring 0913 1240 871 which could cost me around £25 a call as it is a premium number. Of course once i do ring 0913 they can then release my cheque. I must have wasted at least an hour
