SCAM Said they’re from carphone warehouse. Offered latest handset, unlimited calls & texts, incliding international plus 30gb internet for £40per month, said they would cancel my current contract for me transfer my number over and cover all cancellation fees. Got very aggressive/ insistent when I said I had sim only contract and intended to stay that way, suddenly offering the deal for £25 and demanding my card details immediately before I someone else took the offer instead.

10 calls a day for the last 3 days no one talks (scam)...fed up with complaining ....the only way is change your number!
The number is similar to others that have been pestering me recently so I knew it was the Talk Talk fakers at work still. Last week I got three such calls in one day, so now I answer in a loud voice which seems to upset them, after which I wait until they mention "Talk Talk" before hanging up. Automated call - searches seen for numbers in same range suggest call centre. Hung up when call answered. Number called is registered with TPS.
Fraud- They left a voice message which was computerised saying it was HMRC and if I do not call them back "get ready to face legal consequences" was almost laughable how bad the message was

Did not answer as unknown number blocked by my phone therefore treated as scam
Declined the call because was flagged as potential spam. Then I Googled it to find out that it didn't register on Google as a known number. Super suspicious. So I'm blocking the number. Anyone wanting to contact should have my email address.

Phoned at 07.50 for the second Friday morning. Hear people in background but no-one speaks. So annoying when elderly and disabled. All telemarketing via cold calling should be banned.

Said they were from Everest. I got rid of them ok but when I tried to block the number with BT it didn t even show as having rung me.

SCAM Received a text message from this number (supposedly HSBC) saying i had authorised a payment of £195.00 to Mr C Jones. The message goes onto say that if it was not me, to cancel by clicking the link in the message. They must think i was born yesterday! Firstly i have never owned an HSBC account, secondly i don't know a Mr C Jones and thirdly, i would NEVER click a link in a text message even if i knew who the message was from!
