Had an unsolictored call from this company a few days ago. Asking about a car accident, I asked the woman for her company name. She said "Richmond Knight Legal". She said she is looking into an accident that I was involved in, and that there is about £4000 set aside for me as I was the victim. Please log all such calls with the Claims Management Regulator on 0333 200 110, as they are building up cases against such harrasment companies. I did not know I was being charged extra, I don’t even know why I started to receive text from this 88222 number. My monthly phone bill is normally £45 per month unlimited talk and text and 4gb data. Last month my bill was slightly higher, this month my bill went to £89 pounds all because I was receiving messages from the number 88222. I had to send STOP to prevent further higher bills.

The caller makes an unsolicited call (I do not know where did they take my number), says he is from "Trader Education", proposes to talk on financial markets, and would have proceeded to make marketing offers if he had not been refused and stopped by me.

Caller said he was from Sky (my ISP) and the call was about internet connection. There is no reason for Sky to call me from Birmingham, and certainly not with a long delay after I had answered the phone, and definitely not with a strong non-British accent.

Dodgy guy claimed to be ringing from anti crime organisation in London. When asked why it was a Manchester number on caller identifier he stated that it really was London (!) but I could call 08000969345 to verify who he was. Googled that number but that turned out to be a taxi firm in Manchester. Really.... how stupid do they think we are?
