caller didnt announce himself, just asked me to confirm personal details but when i asked, he claimed to be from "the nationwide". He had my name, phone number and postcode. He wanted me to confirm my age but as soon as i asked him further questions he hung up and ended the call. This was obviously not a legitimate call from the nationwide building society.

Just got my new phone yesterday and have had 6 missed calls from this number already!!!!! I havent answered any and dont intend to! This needs to be stopped now!!!

Have called several times despite my answer phone clearly saying I am registered with the TPS and will be reporting them. Who are they?

Oh and by the way, they also call from 01954 582205! That's when you have asked them not to call you again! Report them to the police if it persists, as its illegal to ...

had exactly the same call threatening legal action... when i called back I was asked for my name and national insurance number....just hung up!

Standard "talk talk" fake call. "Problems with my router". Again. Told them I d bought one previous week from TalkTalk ? where was it, I was still waiting!! Rang off! Previous times, offensive or obscene comments because I told him I knew all about him and his dirty tricks! UK telephone number is bogus ? they are overseas somewhere. NEVER call back.

This company?s number shows up on caller ID but when you call back it says number not recognised. When I did answer to them they said they were checking that we were not getting any nuisance calls, I said we were not until they called and then they hung up.

I paid to advertise with this company they never printed my advertisement and kept my money I spoke to the telesales agent Calum Mackintosh who cold called me and he assured me I would get a refund from the MD Mathew Walker if I called back later. I rang and spoke to Mathew Walker who sounds like an illiterate he refused my refund made up a tissue of lies and excuses and said he actually cant issue refunds and the BOSS will call me.......still waiting!! Have been rang by this number at least once a day for about 3 weeks - I normally miss the call as I don t have my phone on my at work. On the one occasion I picked up no one said anything on the other end when I said Hello then they put the phone down. I tried to ring back but it went the the guardian newspaper voicemail - I have no connection with the guardian so I don t think its very legit!

Called twice today but did not leave a message.

This number called me telling me about an over payment I d made on a loan prior to 2009. When I asked for more details as to whom the company was I d overpaid, the man laughed and I dunno it was before 2009 . I then said I have no idea and the phone was hung up.

This number rang tried returning call a few times, turned out to be a company for retraining Plumbers etc
