called saying government was going to return all bank charges to my address by post.

I contacted this number after several missed calls, the company is called Freshstart, from what they said they get your info via loan applications etc, They seem to either provide or find you Debt Management company/PPI insurance recovery and probably other things. I just said I didnt need it and to take me of the call list.

I had them call today and something did not seem rightt so I asked them to call back tomorrow as I was busy so that I could check on them on line before I made any commitment. Glad I did now .

I did not recognize this number, so I decided to let it go to voicemail. Needless to say they did not leave a message. Looking at the previous comments, it was the correct thing to do by ignoring the call. My motto is ... if it is important/legit then they will leave a message.

Telemarketing for PPI claims. Nuisance calls as they keep calling once or twice a day, sometimes hang up without speaking. When they do speak they try to give the impression that they already have details of what you can claim for while asking intrusive questions. They have twice told me that I will be removed from their call list.

Came up on phone as International with the above number , blocked it without answering, had one earlier from 0013183510287 also now blocked also.

It s a survey company calling on behalf of O2.

Will phone multiple times/persistently until answered - however call was legitimate regarding a barclays credit card debt. Once addressed, phone calls stopped accordingly.

Rang me and introduced himself but could not hear because of voices in the background. Sounded like a call centre. When asked to repeat himself he hung up.

Just received a call from an Indian sounding chap called Charles . Asked me to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Calling me while I am abroad means I pay a reception charge which is totally unfair. its the usual an automated service regarding some insurance or such. i wish i could block it, called me about 5 times now and when i dont hear phone it goes to voicemail and i get charged. no morals.

Got called at the beginning of a lecture, didn t know the number and quickly declined before looking it up. Seems O2 isn t 100% scammer-free, but it s a whole lot better than Vodafone.
