SCAM / SPAM: a criminal case is being launched against me for tax evasion apparently. If I don't press "1" right now, I will be arrested immediately!

I believe this to be a telephone/banking scam. They purported to be my bank but they said they wanted me to open another account and transfer money from my account into this other account - at that point I stopped the call and called the number on the back of my debit card and reported the call to my bank fraud department.

It some foreign guy from some IT company missed the name trying to tell you that everytime you go on internet that getting stuff downloaded that can effect your computer documents etc. I played along with him for a bit he asks you to type msconfig in run box the go services then tries to tell you that various things should be running /stopped etc. When I asked what he propsed to do about it he said he would cnnect my comp to his IT guuy com at that point I said not a chance he was rude and said my comp woul

Just had a call this morning from this number saying therey were from Virgin media and were calling because they were getting error messages from my router so they called to fix it. They wanted me to run some sort of Exe file. I called Virgin and they are not aware of this and said my router appears to be ok. Treat with extreme caution!

Pretended to be o2 the other times it called my phone and I phone o2 after to confirm and they said it wasn't them.. Do not accept a call from this number

People this is wild :). Seems to be some call centre working for multiple clients (or fake companies), similar numbers of the same range 016185401xx are already reported with life insurance, car accident chasers, financial management (debts, loans, pensions) - companies Legal Advice, QTS... I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very useful for call centres). No problems.
