Received a call at 14.27 p.m. from Barclays/Barclaycard saying that two transactions had been made this morning. One for £2000.- and another one for £700.-plus. If I agree to this transaction press one, if I want to speak to someone press two. I pressed two. Then there was a pause and after a while the person with an American accent said good buy.

Text message claiming to be Santander, claiming that there is some suspicious payment attempts on your current account. Said they’d attempt to call shortly ti talk to you about it in on a number, it was like the banks number, its not the actual banks number its different by 1 digit.
Will tell you that you are eligible for a free medical pendent, asks too many questions and cannot tell me where he got my details from ...... NOT TO BE TRUSTED !!! SCAM ALERT .

Two text messages from this number: 1) Saturday 28th January 2023 advising that Apple Pay temporarily suspended due to unusual activity and link provided to renew wallet. 2) Sunday 29th January advising that unusual activity occurred on at 4:34 AM and temporary suspension and same link provided. Scam Number... When answered, you hear the "hiccup" meaning you were on an Autodialer and because you've answered, the "hiccup" sound is where the computer is connecting a scam agent. Personally, any call I hear that sound, I hang up, search the number and 9 out of 10 times (9/10) end up Barring the Number. Hope this helps.
